Rodd Barckhoff
Rodd Barckhoff has taught legal process and advanced appellate advocacy since 2003. In addition to teaching for the Winston College of Law as an adjunct faculty member, he served as the interim director of the Center for Advocacy and Dispute Resolution from 2022 to 2025.
He previously served as a staff attorney for the Tennessee Supreme Court for over 20 years, working primarily on criminal and capital cases.
He graduated from the University of Tennessee Winston College of Law with High Honors in 1991. Born and raised near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he is a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
