R. Kyle Williams is a founding partner at Williams Teusink, an Atlanta-based firm where he represents clients in litigation and transactions involving real estate. His practice focuses on zoning, permitting and licensing, development, construction, and general real estate matters. He regularly advises individual property owners, neighborhoods, nonprofits, community associations, and developers on residential and commercial projects, and appears frequently before local governments and state agencies on zoning,
code enforcement, licensing, and property tax appeals. Kyle also serves as general counsel to the Downtown Development Authorities for the Cities of Decatur, Avondale Estates, Stone Mountain, and Clarkston. By appointment of the Superior Courts, he serves as a Special Master in land use, zoning, quiet title, and related real estate disputes. He is a registered civil mediator and neutral with the Georgia Commission on Dispute Resolution. Kyle is active in the profession and the community. He serves on the boards of the DeKalb Bar Association and the Council for Quality Growth and is a current member and past chair of the State Bar of Georgia Advisory Committee on Legislation. He has been recognized as a “Super Lawyer” in Litigation, Land Use, and Zoning for more than two decades and was honored as a “Distinguished Leader” by the Southeastern Legal Awards in 2025. Kyle received his J.D. from the Winston College of Law at The University of Tennessee concentrating in advocacy and dispute resolution. He graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee, Martin, with a B.S. in public administration.
