Tiffany Garner serves as the Director of Graduate Programs & Executive Education and Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Winston College of Law. She oversees the Master of Legal Studies and Graduate Certificate in Legal Studies programs and the Executive Education program, guiding strategic growth, student success, and cross-campus partnerships that extend legal education beyond traditional practice.
A licensed attorney since 2009, Tiffany previously practiced in South Florida in the areas of criminal defense, appellate practice, family law, and civil litigation before transitioning to higher education leadership in 2017. Tiffany has taught numerous courses including Alternative Dispute Resolution, Employment Law, Ethics, and Legal Foundations, and is deeply committed to making legal education accessible and relevant for professionals across diverse industries. She holds a B.S. and M.S. from the Florida State University and a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University, where she earned the Order of the Barristers, Student of the Year, and President’s Award honors.

Stacy Lane has worked at three different universities as a staff member including Kansas State University, University of Wyoming and now at the University of Tennessee.
She began undertaking her college career as a non-traditional student in education at Hutchinson Community College where she attended with the help of a track and field scholarship. She later transferred to Manhattan Christian College and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in management and ethics.
While working full-time, she attended Fort Hays State University and completed a Master of Liberal Sciences degree with an emphasis in organizational leadership.
Lane is active with P.E.O. a philanthropic organization that financially helps women continue their education. She also enjoys travel with her husband and being a mom to her three dogs.

Tammy Rooney is a strong believer that education can change lives and that learning is a life-long process. With her current position at the UT Winston College of Law, she is able to make that belief a reality in her work with both JD students and Graduate students.
She attained her associate’s degree in liberal arts, summa cum laude, from Walters State Community College, and she graduated magna cum laude from Carson-Newman University with a bachelor’s degree in history. After working for several years, she chose to return to college once more. Continuing to work full-time and becoming a mom to her only child while attending school, Tammy graduated at the age of 33 with a Master’s degree in Teaching from Carson-Newman University.
