Meet our Student Ambassadors

Kennedy Kreger
2L, Battle Creek, MI
I chose to come to law school because it was a career path that interested me and fit well with my strengths of researching, writing, and advocacy. Opportunities at Winston Law such as the various clinics, oral advocacy opportunities, and journal options interested me because I knew I wanted to develop my advocacy skills. While at the law school, between the coursework, faculty members, and practical opportunities made available to students, I have had an amazing experience. I am a first-generation college and law student, so it was helpful for me to have someone to ask questions to. I am more than happy to answer any questions!

Anhelika Hall
2L, Johnson City, TN
I chose to attend Winston Law after completing my undergraduate degree at UT through the 3+3 program. The strong sense of community on campus made it an easy decision to continue my education here. I was drawn to Winston Law because of the wide range of academic and professional opportunities available. The hands-on nature of the advocacy courses, supportive resources like the Academic Success Center and Career Center, and the chance to get involved in student organizations have all made my experience incredibly rewarding. I’m happy to answer any questions or be helpful in any way I can!

Paul Mrochinski
2L, Waukesha, WI
I chose to attend law school due to my interest in transactions and sports law and an aim to help clients achieve their financial goals. UT attracted me due to its location in the southeast, the real-world experiences provided by the legal clinic, and the vast and passionate Vol alumni network. As a student, I have had an excellent experience learning in the classroom as well as forming connections with my classmates and professors. I was unsure of what to expect as an out-of-state student, but I could not be happier with my decision to attend UT Law. I met virtually with two students during the application process which was incredibly helpful in making my decision, so I am more than happy to answer any questions and assist in any way I can!

Jordyn Dickey
3L, Marietta, GA
Hey y’all! My name is Jordyn, and I am a 3L from Woodstock, Georgia. I’m a proud graduate of Kennesaw State University, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Legal Studies. During my time in law school, I’ve enjoyed being active in our community and taking on leadership roles. I currently serve as President of the Privacy, Intellectual Property, and Technology Law Student Organization and Vice President of the Black Law Student Association, where I’ve had the opportunity to connect with peers and support initiatives, I’m passionate about. After graduation, I’ll be moving to Atlanta to begin my career, (most likely) as a General Liability Associate with Travelers Insurance.

Olutayo Alston
3L, McDonough, GA
Re-enrolling in school after eleven years as a stay-at-home mom was difficult. Unable to relocate from my home in Chattanooga, TN, my law school options were limited. After researching, it became clear that UT Winston College of Law would provide the best opportunity for success due to their scholarship opportunities and high bar passage rates. Since enrolling, I have received so much support from the law school administration and other students. Going back to school as an older student can be daunting, but Winston Law has made the transition painless.

Sydney Kirk
2L, Bristol, TN
I decided to come to law school after teaching elementary special education for two years. I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from UTK, so I am a soon-to-be triple Vol! Transitioning to law school after working in a completely different profession was full of uncertainty, but deciding to come to UT law was the best decision I could have ever made. I would love to answer any questions you may have. Go Vols!

Quincy Sackey-Mensah
2L, Lawrenceville, GA
Prior to enrolling in law school, I taught 5th grade through Teach For America. The opportunity to earn my legal education from one of the best schools in the South initially drew me in. Since being at UT I have been able to build plenty of relationships with other students, staff, and faculty. The courses here have truly helped me build the foundation for the rest of my legal career. Being a first-generation student I had limited connections in the legal field, but UT has helped me tremendously. I will gladly answer any questions you may have. I look forward to speaking with you!

Anna Giovannini
2L, Memphis, TN
I chose to attend law school due to my interest in business law and helping others to reach their financial goals. UT interested me due to my desire to settle in the southeast long-term, the real-world experiences provided by the legal clinic, and the vast and passionate Vol alumni network. Since beginning law school, I have had an excellent experience learning in the classroom as well as forming connections with my classmates and professors. As an out-of-state student, I was unsure of what to expect, but I could not be happier with my decision to attend UT Law. I met virtually with two current students which was incredibly helpful in making my decision, so I am more than happy to answer any questions and assist in any manner I can.
