College of Law Alumni Council
The Alumni Council, established in 1973, was created to enable the alumni of the University of Tennessee Winston College of Law to connect with the various programs, activities, and curricular offerings of the college.
Alumni Council members serve as advocates for the law school, advising the dean and the director of annual giving and alumni affairs, attending alumni events, fundraising for the annual giving program, reporting concerns to leadership for discussion and possible action, and making an annual personal commitment to the College Fund for Law. The alumni council meets twice a year in Knoxville for a weekend of social activities and discussions. Additionally, conference calls may be scheduled as needed.
The mission of the Alumni Council is to promote alumni involvement with Winston Law and to build and maintain a viable annual giving program.
