Judge Bernice Donald, of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, will serve as the featured speaker for the University of Tennessee College of Law’s May 2022 commencement ceremonies.  Donald’s experiences and nearly 40-year career have made her a unique woman of firsts.

Tennessee student team wins national mock trial competition

A University of Tennessee College of Law team has won the 2022 national Phi Alpha Delta Mock Trial Competition. The team, including first-year student Kyle Mangrum, and second-year students Alex Allen, Grady McGinnity and Tommy Zoccola, excelled in three preliminary rounds before advancing to the finals and winning out over 21 teams.

PreLaw magazine has ranked the University of Tennessee College of Law as the sixth best value law school in the nation.  The ranking, published in PreLaw’s fall 2021 issue, relates directly to bar passage and employment rates in comparison to tuition, cost of living and indebtedness.
