Five finalists have been named in the search for the next dean of the University of Tennessee College of Law. Finalists will give community presentations on campus beginning next week. Five women take home top honors in 2021 Advocates’ Prize Competition

Two second-year students came away victorious from the College of Law’s 2021 Advocates’ Prize Moot Court Competition. Judges named Molly Green-Majewski and Holly Nehls, both second-year law students, as the best team, while Anne Crisp, a third-year law student, was selected as the winner of the Powell Prize for the best oralist.

Legal Clinic to offer assistance to Monroe County residents

The University of Tennessee College of Law Legal Clinic is partnering with the Monroe County legal community to host a Saturday Expungement Community Court on Oct. 30. The event will bring together judges, legal partners, and community volunteers at the First United Church of Christ in Sweetwater, Tennessee from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
