Attendees will learn about the three stages of memory – acquisition, retention, and retrieval – and the role system and estimator variables play. Attendees will also be provided with strategies to help mitigate the effects of attention bias, perceptual fill-in, cognitive dissonance, and other heuristics that can distort memories.
