Sibyl Marshall is the Interim Associate Dean for Library and Technology Services at Winston Law, a position she assumed in August 2026. Prior to this appointment, she served as Associate Director of the Joel A. Katz Law Library, providing leadership to the heads of Research and Instructional Services and Access and Technical Services, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the law library, and leading collection development. She also participates in planning, teaching, and assessing the first-year legal research curriculum, and has taught classes in Advanced Administrative Law Research, Free and Low-Cost Legal Research Resources, and Advanced Legal Research.

Prior to joining Winston Law, Marshall served as Electronic Resources and Reference Librarian at Mercer University School of Law in Macon, Georgia, where she provided research and reference services, taught legal research, managed access to legal research databases, and led community outreach efforts.
Marshall began her legal career as a Litigation Associate at Perkins Coie in Los Angeles, where she managed product liability cases and engaged in all aspects of pre-trial practice. She holds a J.D., cum laude, Order of the Coif, from Loyola Law School, and a Master of Information Science from the University of Tennessee.
