Conference will examine environmental impact of pipelines

The University of Tennessee College of Law will host the Oil and Gas Pipeline Legal Conference on Friday, Feb. 28. The event, sponsored by the Native American Law Students Association and the Environmental Law Organization, will feature discussions about pipeline conflicts in the homelands of indigenous people and water pipeline construction in the Mojave Desert.

Maria Saez Tatman has joined the University of Tennessee College of Law as the assistant dean for student affairs. Publishers Weekly has named Professor Maurice Stucke’s forthcoming book “Competition Overdose” as one of its top ten business and economics reads for Spring 2020. Students successful at regional moot court competition

Three University of Tennessee College of Law students have advanced to the finals of the National Moot Court Competition. Third-year law student Andrew Cox, and second-year students Kayla Rask and Regan Sherrell, competed on behalf of UT Law in the Region 7 competition earlier this month in Memphis.
